We’re happy to have selected Temple Coffee Roasters for our roaster this month. Founded in 2005, Temple now has 8 coffee shops and a roasterie. Founder Sean Kohmescher continues to strive to fulfill his vision for when he founded Temple: good vibes, great service, and exceptionally well-prepared coffee.

But like with all roasters we work with, those good vibes don’t just apply to his local community but to the farms where they source their coffee. Their farm to cup model stands on three pillars of sustainability: social, economic, and environmental. They maintain long term relationships with their producers while paying them well higher rates for their coffee than Fair Trade prices. While there are many steps from seed to cup, Temple is involved with the coffee at each step to ensure quality coffee that improves the lives of their farmers and their communities.
