DOMA Coffee

Roasters

Brothers Coffee is happy to announce our latest coffee roaster: DOMA Coffee from Post Falls, ID. Every decision made at DOMA is rooted in sustainability-from providing a higher than fair trade compensation to the farmers they work with to using an energy-saving Loring Smart Roast in their production facility.

DOMA Coffee Roasting Company was founded with the goal of creating an environmentally sound company that roasts great coffee. Or a company that roasts great coffee and is environmentally sound. Either way, we all win.

This process takes a huge amount of effort and passion for a roaster to pull off, which is why it is so rare to see this model used by small roasters. At Brothers, we applaud this dedication to the dual emphasis of ethical sourcing and quality; it’s this very idea that inspired us to start searching for roasters such as DOMA.

DOMA’s mission doesn’t just entail paying farmers a fair wage, but also about sustainability. This mission is seen in all aspects of the company, from their use of a roaster that burns through 80% less gas than other roasters to using only recycled printing materials.

DOMA’s investments aren’t only overseas, but also locally, participating in many community initiatives. They donate consistently to Kootenai Environmental Alliance, a grassroots conservation community in Idaho. They sell a coffee that benefits Spokane Riverkeeper, keeping their rivers clean. They also donate to bicycling groups, always a great way to building community.

We’re excited to be able to share DOMA’s delicious coffee with all of our subscribers this month!
